Samitha Seneviratne

Samitha Seneviratne completed primary/secondary education at Ananda College from 1971-1983 . Entered the University of Colombo (Faculty of Science) & graduated with a BSc in natural sciences & later obtained MBA from the University of Warnborough (Ireland) specializing in Management.

He joined – Ms. Islandwide Marketing Services Pvt Ltd. (IMS) in 1991 & currently working as a shareholding Director. Lately appointed as a shareholding Director of MS Serendib Natural Products Pvt Ltd. Counting almost 30 years in promoting industrial chemicals. He is also professionally trained as a perfumer/flavorist in Singapore for 6 months.

He is also a Certified member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM). Also followed a diploma in International relations at BCIS (Bandaranayake Center for International Studies).

He Past president & a Secretary of the Rotary Club of Colombo Down Town (under Rotary international 3220) where he has been able to secure global grant to donate two RO plant for North Central province.

He Joined ACOBA in 1994 & has been an Ex co member for long years representing Old Anandians 70-75 group & held various positions in the Management Committee (MC)in the capacity as  Jt. Sec./ Vice President & finally being the Deputy President of the (ACOBA) during 23/24 & 24/25. During the time with ACOBA he has been involved with many flagship events organized by ACOBA .
