Major General Ravi Pathiravithana, the Security Forces Commander, East, represented Ananda College in cricket during the late 1980s. He is the son of Dyon Pathiravithana, a gifted cricketer and hockey player from the mid, 1960s who later became a distinguished sports journalist.
