23 Aug 94 Group donates Oxygen Supply Machine in remembering Fellow War Heroes who lost their lives
In remembering the brave brothers of Old Anandians’ 94 Group who made the supreme sacrifice to defend our motherland, the 94 Group donated a Central Oxygen Supply Machine and other essential equipment to the Kiribathgoda Base Hospital, which is currently operating as a Covid-19 treatment center.
Items valued over Rs. 2.5 million were officially handed over to the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Prabath Abeywardena on 6th August 2021 at the hotel premises. Mr. S.M. Keerthirathne, the Principal of Ananda College and Mr. Bimal Wijayasinghe, the Executive President of Ananda College Old Boys’ Association were also present at the event.
The Principal of Ananda College expressed his gratitude towards the health warriors for the tireless commitment and enormous effort they make to control the pandemic situation in the country.
